The airport pickup checklist every traveller should use

February 18, 2026 · 4 min read · First Class

Airport pickups fail for boring reasons: the wrong terminal, a flight number nobody passed on, or a phone that is still in flight mode. None of them are hard to solve, and each one costs real time when it goes wrong.

Start with the flight number. When you add it to your booking, dispatch can watch the arrival time and move your driver with it. An early landing is not a problem; an unannounced early landing is.

Next, confirm the terminal and the meeting point. Curbside is faster in light traffic. A meet-and-greet in arrivals is calmer with luggage, children or a first-time visitor, and it is the option most of our corporate clients choose.

Count your luggage honestly. Four adults with four large cases do not fit in a sedan, and swapping vehicle class at the curb wastes everyone's evening. Our fleet page lists seats and luggage capacity for every class so you can size the car before you book.

Finally, keep your phone reachable and book at least four hours ahead so a licensed, document-checked driver can be assigned to you rather than whoever happens to be nearby.
