1. What we collect
We collect only what is needed to quote, dispatch and bill a journey:
- Contact details: name, email address and phone number
- Journey details: pickup and drop-off addresses, stops, dates, times and passenger count
- Payment details: card authorization records and the last four digits of the card (full card numbers are held by our payment processor, never by us)
- Account records: bookings, invoices, ratings and support messages
- Driver records: licence, insurance and vehicle inspection documents with their expiry dates
2. How we use it
Your information is used to price and confirm bookings, assign a driver, keep you informed by email or text, take payment, issue invoices and receipts, and handle support or safety matters.
3. Who we share it with
Journey details are shared with the assigned driver so they can complete the ride. Payment data is processed by our payment provider. Corporate bookings appear on the company's invoice. We do not sell personal information.
4. Location data
During an active ride, the driver's location may be shared with the passenger for live tracking, and stops when the ride ends.
5. Retention
Booking, payment and invoice records are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal obligations. Driver documents are stored in private storage accessible only to the driver and our review team.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, request corrections, or ask us to delete records we are not legally required to keep. Email info@taxi-webdesign.com and we will respond.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember booking progress. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
