Why we quote a fixed price before you ride

Every quote you see on this site is calculated from the same fare rules our dispatch team uses. There is no separate marketing price and operational price.
For point-to-point journeys the price is a base fare plus a per-mile and per-minute rate, with a minimum fare so short hops still cover a professional driver's time.
For hourly rides you book a block of time with a minimum number of hours. Overtime is billed in fixed increments rather than rounded up to the next hour.
Extras — child seats, additional stops, meet-and-greet, waiting beyond the free window — are listed with their prices on our pricing page. Anything added during a ride appears as its own line item, and where a signature is required the passenger approves it before it is charged.
Because the fare is quoted before you confirm, weather and demand do not change what you pay after the fact.
